Installation should be performed by someone familiar with DC electrical systems. Use M6 ring terminals to connect the alternator output to the input stud of the isolator, and then connect the output studs to the respective battery positive terminals.
Ensure that you use high-quality, appropriately gauged cabling to match the 80 A capacity of the unit. Periodically inspect the M6 stud connections to ensure they remain tight, as loose connections can cause high resistance and localized heating. Keep the unit in a well-ventilated area, as the diodes naturally generate some heat during operation.
