FAQs
What is the primary benefit of the increased latex coverage?
The increased latex coverage on the fingers, thumb, and sides of the hand provides more surface area for superior ball contact, enhancing grip and control during catches, handling, and throws.
How does the ReuschGrip Silver palm perform in different weather conditions?
ReuschGrip Silver is a high-volume foam designed to offer excellent grip and impact absorption in both wet and dry conditions, making the gloves versatile for all types of weather.
What is the purpose of the Punch Foam on the backhand?
The Punch Foam is concentrated at the knuckles to provide added stability and power when punching the ball, while still allowing for flexibility in hand movements.
How should I clean my Reusch Attrakt Silver GK Gloves?
Clean the gloves by hand with cold water after each use. A mild soap or specialized glove cleaner can be used if needed. Avoid harsh detergents and machine washing.
How should I dry the gloves?
Gently pat the gloves dry with a towel and let them air dry completely at room temperature. Keep them away from direct heat sources like radiators or sunlight, as this can damage the latex.
What type of palm construction does this glove have?
These gloves feature an Expanse Cut, also known as a Flat Palm, which offers a larger catching surface and direct ball contact.
Are these gloves suitable for all age groups?
These are specifically designed as 'Kids' gloves, suitable for young goalkeepers. The sizing and features are optimized for junior players.
Troubleshooting
Gloves feel too tight or restrictive
Ensure the elastic cuff and full strap are adjusted correctly. If the glove is genuinely too small, consider if a larger size is needed. Break-in period may be required for a snug fit.
Reduced grip after a few uses
Clean the palm with cold water to remove dirt and sweat that can affect grip. Ensure the gloves are properly dried and stored. Avoid contact with abrasive surfaces.
Latex tearing or wearing excessively
Check if the gloves are being used on inappropriate surfaces or if excessive force is being applied. Ensure proper care and drying methods are followed. This may indicate the gloves have reached the end of their lifespan.
Hands feel too warm or sweaty
The AirVentSystem is designed to improve breathability, but in very hot conditions, some sweating is normal. Ensure gloves are clean and fully dry between uses.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Unboxing: Carefully remove the gloves from their packaging.
- Initial Fit: Try on the gloves to ensure a snug, comfortable fit. The elastic cuff and full strap allow for adjustment.
- Pre-Use: Some goalkeepers prefer to slightly dampen the palm with water before the first use to activate the grip, though this is optional with ReuschGrip Silver.
Compatibility:
- Weather: Designed for use in all weather conditions, including wet and dry environments.
- Playing Surface: Suitable for natural grass and most artificial turf surfaces.
Care Instructions:
- Cleaning: After each use, clean the gloves by hand with cold water. Use a mild soap or specialized glove cleaner if necessary. Avoid harsh detergents.
- Drying: Gently pat the gloves dry with a towel. Allow them to air dry completely at room temperature, away from direct sunlight or heat sources (like radiators or hairdryers), as excessive heat can damage the latex.
- Storage: Store the gloves in a cool, dry place, preferably in a glove bag. Avoid folding or creasing the palm area.
- Latex Maintenance: Do not store in plastic bags once dry, as this can cause the latex to stick together. Ensure the latex is clean for optimal performance.
