Setup, Compatibility & Care
Before starting, ensure your wall thickness does not exceed the 500mm duct length; if the wall is thinner, use a hacksaw to trim the PVC pipe to the required size. For thicker walls, you will need to source additional compatible 100mm ducting and a connector.
- Drill a 100mm hole through the wall.
- Insert the PVC duct, ensuring a snug fit.
- Secure the outdoor grille using the provided screws and wall plugs, applying a bead of silicone sealant around the frame to prevent water ingress.
- Attach the indoor grille and adjust the shutter to your desired airflow setting.
For care, periodically remove the indoor grille cover to clear lint or dust from the insect screen, and occasionally check the exterior shutter to ensure it is free of debris and continues to swing open and closed smoothly.
