Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
The Airmaster Panel Heater is designed for permanent wall mounting and hard-wired installation. This means it does not come with a plug and requires a qualified electrician to connect it directly to your electrical circuit. The unit includes a pre-fitted wall mounting bracket for straightforward installation. Ensure the chosen mounting location provides adequate clearance for air circulation and is away from flammable materials.
Compatibility
This heater operates on a standard 220-240Vac input voltage with a frequency of 50~60Hz. Its 1.5kW output rating means it draws approximately 6.25 amps at 240V, which should be considered in your electrical circuit planning. The 1.5m cable is provided for hard-wiring. Its IP24 rating allows for installation in areas where water splashes may occur, such as bathrooms (Zone 2), provided all wiring complies with local regulations.
Care
Maintaining your Airmaster panel heater is simple:
- Cleaning: Periodically wipe the exterior of the heater with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust and dirt. Ensure the heater is switched off and cool before cleaning. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Ventilation: Ensure the air inlet and outlet vents remain unobstructed to maintain optimal performance and prevent overheating. Dust or debris accumulation on these vents can affect efficiency.
- Inspection: Regularly check the power cable and the heater body for any signs of damage. If any damage is noted, consult a qualified electrician or contact customer support.
