These feeders work best with moist groundbait mixes, pellets (soaked and drained), or a combination of both. The bait needs to be cohesive enough to hold its shape when compressed.

Select a lighter weight (15g, 20g) for calmer, shallower waters or when casting shorter distances. Use heavier weights (24g, 30g) for deeper water, stronger currents, or longer casts to ensure the feeder stays put.

This set is primarily designed for freshwater coarse and carp fishing. Its performance in saltwater environments may vary.

While not strictly essential, the moulding cap is highly recommended. It significantly simplifies the process of loading bait evenly and compactly, leading to better casting and presentation.

Rinse the feeders and moulding cap thoroughly with fresh water after each use to remove any residual bait. Allow them to air dry completely before storing to prevent corrosion or mildew.

Having multiple weights allows you to adapt your fishing approach based on the conditions. You can cast further, hold bottom better in currents, or present a smaller bait package depending on the weight chosen.

Ensure your bait mixture has the correct moisture content. If too dry, add a small amount of water; if too wet, add more dry mix.

Gently twist the feeder as you pull it from the mould. Ensure the mould is clean and free of excess bait residue.

Check that the feeder is securely attached to your rig or swivel. Use a reliable knot or a strong swivel to prevent detachment during casting or retrieval.
