Product Information

Full details

The Bluetti PV350 is a high-performance 350W portable solar panel designed for users needing reliable off-grid power. Its key benefit is fast, efficient charging of compatible power stations, significantly reducing downtime. A potential caveat is its unfolded size, requiring adequate space for optimal positioning. This panel utilizes advanced monocrystalline cells for up to 23.4% efficiency, features a durable ETFE coating, and folds into a portable unit with integrated kickstands for easy setup. It's an excellent choice for campers, RV owners, and those preparing for emergencies.

FAQs

What is the maximum power output of the Bluetti PV350?

The Bluetti PV350 has a rated power output of 350W.

What type of solar cells does the PV350 use?

It uses high-efficiency monocrystalline silicon solar cells.

Is the Bluetti PV350 waterproof?

The junction box on the PV350 is IP65 rated, meaning it is protected against dust and low-pressure water jets. However, the entire panel is not fully waterproof and should be protected from prolonged exposure to heavy rain.

How do I connect the PV350 to my power station?

The panel comes with standard MC4 connectors. You connect these directly to the MC4 input ports on compatible Bluetti power stations or solar charge controllers.

What are the dimensions of the PV350 when folded and unfolded?

When folded, the dimensions are approximately 90.5 × 61.3 cm. When unfolded, it measures about 90.5 × 240 cm.

What is the weight of the PV350?

The Bluetti PV350 weighs 13.9 kg.

Can I use the PV350 with a power station from a brand other than Bluetti?

Yes, as long as the other power station or charge controller uses MC4 connectors and can accept the voltage and current specifications of the PV350 (Vmp: 37.5V, Imp: 9.2A, Voc: 46.5V, Isc: 10.8A).

Does the PV350 come with a cable?

The product specifications indicate a cable length of 3m, implying that a connection cable is included.

Troubleshooting

Panel not charging power station

Ensure MC4 connectors are securely attached. Check that the panel is angled directly at the sun. Verify that the power station or charge controller is compatible and functioning correctly. Confirm that no part of the panel is shaded.

Low charging speed

Ensure the panel is optimally angled towards the sun. Clean the panel surface to remove any dust or debris. Check for any shading on the panel, even partial shading can significantly reduce output. Verify that the power station's input limit is not being exceeded and that it is capable of accepting the panel's full wattage.

Panel shows signs of damage

Discontinue use immediately if the panel surface is cracked, the frame is bent, or the cables are damaged. Contact Bluetti customer support for inspection and potential repair or replacement options.

Kickstands are loose or difficult to adjust

Ensure there is no debris obstructing the kickstand mechanism. If the issue persists, check for any damage to the hinges or locking points. Contact customer support if the kickstands are not functioning correctly.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Fast charging capabilities due to 350W output.
High energy conversion efficiency (up to 23.4%) from monocrystalline cells.
Durable and weather-resistant construction with ETFE coating.
Portable and foldable design with integrated kickstands for easy deployment.
Wide compatibility with Bluetti power stations and other solar systems via MC4 connectors.
Environmentally friendly power generation.

Cons

Requires ample space when unfolded (90.5 × 240 cm).
Performance may be reduced in very low light conditions despite high efficiency.
Heavy for a portable panel at 13.9 kg.
Only the junction box is IP65 rated; the entire panel is not waterproof.
Requires a compatible power station or charge controller to utilize the power.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup:

Unfold the Bluetti PV350 panel.
Adjust the built-in kickstands to angle the panel towards direct sunlight for maximum exposure. Aim for a position that receives unobstructed sun throughout the day.
Connect the panel's MC4 cables to the corresponding MC4 input on your Bluetti power station or solar charge controller. Ensure the connection is secure.
Verify that the power station is receiving charge input, typically indicated on its display screen.

Compatibility:

The PV350 is designed to work seamlessly with most Bluetti power stations, including models such as the AC180, AC200L, AC300, AC240, AC200P, AC200MAX, AC500, EP500, EP500PRO, EB240, and EB150. It utilizes standard MC4 connectors, making it compatible with other solar generators and charge controllers that accept this connection type and can handle its voltage and current.

Care:

Cleaning: Periodically clean the panel surface with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, dirt, or bird droppings that can reduce efficiency. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.
Storage: When not in use, fold the panel and store it in a dry, protected environment. Use the original packaging or a protective cover if available.
Inspection: Regularly inspect the cables and connectors for any signs of damage. Ensure the junction box remains clean and free of debris.
Weather: While the junction box is IP65 rated, avoid prolonged exposure to heavy rain or extreme weather conditions. Protect the panel from physical impact.
