Setup, Compatibility & Care
Preparation Instructions:
- Boil Water: Boil 1 litre of fresh tap water. Do not use artificially softened water.
- Cool Water: Let the boiled water cool for no more than 30 minutes, so it remains at a temperature of about 70°C.
- Prepare Bottle: Pour the correct amount of water into a sterilised feeding beaker. Refer to the feeding guide on the packaging for exact amounts.
- Add Powder: Using the scoop provided, level off the powder. Add the correct number of scoops to the water.
- Dissolve Powder: Close the sterilised teat and bottle/beaker, then shake well until all the powder is dissolved.
- Cool to Feeding Temperature: Remove the teat and rinse under cold running water. Cool the beaker under cold running water. Ensure the formula is cooled to feeding temperature (around 37°C) before giving it to your baby.
Important Notes:
- Always sterilise your baby's bottles, teats, and beakers before use.
- Never use a microwave to warm formula.
- Always check the temperature of the feed before giving it to your baby.
- Discard any leftover feed within 2 hours.
Compatibility:
This formula is suitable exclusively for infants over 6 months of age and should not be introduced before this time. It can be used alongside breastfeeding or as a primary formula. For toddlers aged 1-3 years, Aptamil Advanced Toddler Milk is available.
