Folding Wooden Rule Measure - GTV

While durable, prolonged exposure to harsh weather conditions is not recommended. It's best used in dry environments to maintain the wood's integrity.

This folding rule is more compact and rigid for its length than a tape measure, making it excellent for quick, precise measurements and marking. Tape measures are generally preferred for longer, continuous measurements.

For standard carpentry and DIY tasks, it offers good precision. For highly critical architectural measurements, always verify with professional-grade calibrated tools.

Keep the joints clean and dry. A small amount of graphite lubricant can be applied sparingly if they become stiff.

Ensure the steel joints are free from dust or debris. If necessary, apply a small amount of graphite lubricant to the joint mechanism.

Clean the rule gently with a dry cloth. For persistent issues, consider using a fine-tip marker to re-trace faded lines if necessary, being careful not to obscure original precision.

This can occur with excessive moisture. Allow the rule to dry naturally in a temperate environment. For minor warping, it may still be usable, but for significant damage, replacement might be necessary.
