Setup, Compatibility & Care
For proper installation, ensure that the masonry units are clean and that the mortar bed is of the correct thickness and strength. Embed the tie firmly into the mortar, ensuring the drip portion of the tie hangs freely within the air gap between the two walls to function as intended. Compatibility is broad, covering standard blockwork, timber frame stud work, and steel framing systems. No special maintenance is required once the wall is finished, thanks to the inherent properties of the 304 stainless steel, which maintains its integrity indefinitely under normal building conditions.
