Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure the chain is properly tensioned before first use and after initial break-in.
- Mix the correct ratio of petrol and 2-stroke oil as specified by the manufacturer for the fuel.
- Fill the chain oil reservoir with appropriate bar and chain oil.
- Engage the choke, pull the starter cord until the engine attempts to start, then disengage the choke and restart.
Compatibility:
This model uses standard 20-inch chainsaw chains and guide bars. Ensure any replacement parts meet the specifications for a 63cc engine.
Care:
- Regular Cleaning: Keep the air filter clean and free of debris. Remove sawdust and clippings from the engine casing and around the sprocket.
- Chain Maintenance: Sharpen the chain regularly for optimal performance and safety. Check chain tension frequently.
- Bar Maintenance: Clean the groove of the guide bar and ensure the oil holes are clear.
- Engine: Perform regular maintenance on the spark plug and air filter as per the user manual. Allow the engine to cool before refueling and performing maintenance.
