Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Connect the DisplayPort connector firmly into the DisplayPort output on your graphics card or source device and the DisplayPort input on your monitor or display. Ensure both ends are securely seated for optimal signal transmission.
Compatibility: This cable is designed for devices supporting DisplayPort v2.1 or earlier versions. It is backward compatible with DisplayPort 1.4 and previous standards, though features like 8K@120Hz will only be available with DP2.1 compatible hardware. Ensure your graphics card and display both support the desired resolution and refresh rate.
Care: Avoid tightly coiling the cable, as this can stress the internal wiring. Store the cable in a cool, dry place when not in use. Clean the connectors periodically with a dry, lint-free cloth to ensure a clean connection. Do not use liquid cleaners directly on the connectors.
