The Knipex 74 06 Series High Leverage Diagonal Cutters are fitted with multi-component handles. These chrome-plated diagonal pliers offer a high cutting performance with minimum effort due to the pivot design, requiring up to 20% less force compared to conventional diagonal cutters of the same length. They feature induction-hardened edges for cutting materials up to 4.6mm in diameter and can cut through nails and screws without damaging the pliers. Made in Germany, these VDE-tested, insulated handles with multi-component grips ensure tough, continuous use. With an integrated forged axle for heaviest duty, they are suitable for all types of wire, including piano wire. The precision cutting edges are additionally induction-hardened, with a cutting edge hardness of approximately 64 HRC. Made from chrome vanadium heavy-duty steel, forged, and multi-stage oil-hardened.
