The RAPICCA Heat Resistant Fireplace Gloves are designed for professional welders, home fireplace owners, and BBQ enthusiasts who require maximum thermal protection without sacrificing manual dexterity. These gloves offer an impressive heat resistance threshold of up to 932°F (500°C) thanks to their four-layer construction, making them a reliable choice for handling high-temperature tasks. While they provide exceptional safety and full forearm coverage, the heavy-duty material can feel somewhat bulky, which may limit fine motor movements during highly intricate small-scale tasks.

While they provide protection, these gloves are designed for heavier tasks. They may be too thick for the delicate touch required for precision TIG welding.
No, machine washing will destroy the leather and heat-insulating layers. Spot clean with a dry brush or cloth.
While the cotton lining provides some insulation, these are specifically engineered for high-heat protection, not as winter work gloves.
The exterior is constructed from 1.5mm thick high-quality cowhide leather.
These gloves are heat-resistant, but they are not intended to be held inside a fire or against open flames for extended periods. Use them to manipulate tools or logs briefly.
No, they rely on natural leather, aluminum foil insulation, and cotton to manage heat.
Leather gloves naturally soften with wear. Flex your hands and fingers while wearing the gloves for a few hours to help the cowhide conform to your grip.
Ensure your gloves are completely dry. Moisture inside the lining can conduct heat. If the exterior is worn through at the palm, replace the gloves for your safety.
To ensure the longevity of your RAPICCA gloves, avoid storing them in high-humidity areas, as damp leather can lose its flexibility and structural integrity. If the gloves become dusty or covered in soot, wipe the exterior with a dry cloth; do not submerge them in water or use harsh chemical detergents, as these can strip the protective finish from the cowhide. When not in use, store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Before each use, inspect the gloves for any tears or thinning in the reinforced palm sections to ensure they continue to provide the necessary thermal barrier.
