Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup Instructions
- Ensure the RV is parked on a flat surface and the primary parking brake/chocks are applied.
- Slide the stabilizer between your dual tires.
- Use the provided ratchet wrench to rotate the adjustment mechanism.
- Tighten until the stabilizer is firmly wedged against both tire treads, ensuring it is secure but not overtightened to the point of deforming the tire rubber.
Compatibility
These chocks are compatible with most standard travel trailers and RVs with dual-axle configurations featuring tire spacings between 3.5 and 12 inches.
Maintenance
Periodically check the pivot points of the arms and the threaded adjustment rod. Keep these parts clean from road grit and apply a light silicone-based lubricant if the mechanism becomes stiff over time to ensure smooth operation.
