Setting the Time and Date
- Setting the Time: Gently pull out the crown (the knob on the side) to the furthest position. Rotate the crown to move the hands clockwise or counter-clockwise until the correct time is displayed. Push the crown back in completely to start the watch.
- Setting the Date: Pull the crown out to the first click position. Rotate the crown to adjust the date. Be cautious not to set the date between 9 PM and 3 AM, as this can interfere with the date change mechanism. Push the crown back in completely.

- Reset: After stopping, press the bottom pusher to reset the chronograph sub-dials back to zero.
Compatibility
This watch is a standalone accessory and does not require compatibility with other devices.
Care and Maintenance
- Cleaning: Regularly wipe your watch with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust, dirt, and oils. For a more thorough clean of the stainless steel bracelet, use a slightly damp cloth with mild soap, then wipe dry immediately.
- Water Resistance: The MK6474 has a 5 ATM water resistance rating. This means it is suitable for everyday use and can withstand splashes, rain, or brief immersion in water, such as washing hands. It is not recommended for swimming, showering, or diving. Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in to maintain water resistance.
- Crystal Bezel Care: The crystal-studded bezel is a delicate feature. Avoid sharp impacts or harsh chemicals that could damage the crystals or their settings.
- Storage: When not wearing your watch, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. A watch box can help protect it from dust and scratches.
- Battery Replacement: As this watch uses a quartz movement, the battery will eventually need to be replaced. This is typically required every 2-3 years. It is recommended to have a professional jeweler or watch repair service replace the battery to ensure proper sealing and functionality.
