Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: To install the QEP replacement cutting wheel, ensure your tile cutter is unplugged or has its power source disconnected. Loosen the existing bolt and remove the old cutting wheel. Place the new 7/8" titanium coated wheel onto the cutter's spindle, ensuring it sits flush. Secure it with the provided bolt and locknut. Do not overtighten, as this can damage the wheel or the cutter mechanism.
Compatibility: This 7/8" cutting wheel is designed to fit most standard QEP tile cutters and many other brands with a similar spindle size. Always check your tile cutter's manual for specific replacement wheel specifications.
Care: Keep the cutting wheel clean by wiping it with a dry cloth after each use. Avoid exposing the wheel to excessive moisture. Periodically check the wheel for any signs of damage or excessive wear. If the scoring line becomes inconsistent, it is time to replace the wheel.
