Each pack contains 100 copper slate clips.
They are designed for standard slate applications; check your specific tile dimensions against the 19G gauge and 6 x 1/2 sizing to ensure compatibility.
No, they are made from copper, which is naturally highly resistant to corrosion and rust.
Yes, they are designed for both professional use and DIY repairs, provided you have the necessary safety equipment and roofing knowledge.
19G refers to the gauge of the metal, indicating the thickness of the copper used, which provides the necessary strength to hold tiles securely.
Ensure the clip is pushed fully home against the batten and that the slate tile is seated correctly.
Ensure there is enough clearance; if the mortar or tile is too tight, use a slate ripper to carefully clear the path.
To ensure optimal performance, verify that the thickness of your slate tiles is compatible with the 19G specification of the clips. When installing, slide the clip into position under the slate tile to anchor it to the batten or substrate firmly. Avoid over-bending the metal during installation to maintain the structural integrity of the copper. No specific maintenance is required post-installation, but periodic roof inspections are recommended to ensure no environmental debris has compromised the roof structure.
