Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup:
- Ensure the generator is placed on a stable, level surface away from direct exhaust fumes.
- Check the engine oil level and add appropriate oil if necessary.
- Fill the fuel tank with fresh, unleaded petrol.
- Connect any loads only after the engine has started and warmed up.
Compatibility:
This generator is compatible with most standard AC-powered devices. Its inverter technology makes it safe for laptops, smartphones, televisions, sensitive medical equipment, and other electronics. The DC output can be used with appropriate charging cables for 12V automotive batteries.
Care and Maintenance:
- Regular Cleaning: Keep the exterior clean and free from dust and debris. Ensure air vents are clear.
- Oil Changes: Change the engine oil according to the manufacturer's recommendations (typically after the first 20 hours of use, then every 100 hours or annually).
- Air Filter: Clean or replace the air filter regularly, especially when operating in dusty conditions.
- Spark Plug: Inspect and clean the spark plug periodically.
- Storage: If storing for an extended period, use a fuel stabilizer and run the generator for a few minutes to ensure fuel is distributed throughout the system, or drain the fuel tank completely.
