The line is designed for versatile freshwater applications. For saltwater use, specific RIO saltwater lines are generally recommended due to the different demands of saltwater environments.

Rinse the tips with fresh water after each use to remove debris and salt. Store them loosely coiled away from heat and sunlight to maintain their flexibility and prevent cracking.

Ensure the loop-to-loop connection is smooth. Check for any burrs on rod guides or reel seat. Practice casting with a more relaxed stroke and avoid over-running the line.
