The Equilibrium Close Contact Chaps are turnout boots for mud fever prevention, designed to keep horse’s legs dry and mud free. These mud fever boots fit close, like a second skin to help keep legs protected and reduce the damaging effect mud can have on the skin. They completely encase the lower leg, covering the hoof, heel and fetlock area. They also offer mild protection from brushing and overreach injuries, eliminating the need for separate brushing and overreach boots when turning out. Features include breathability, softness, and comfort. Made from perforated neoprene, they are not suitable for horses and ponies with a neoprene allergy. The 4-way stretch material ensures a snug fit like a second skin. They keep the legs clean and dry during turnout to help prevent mud fever and come in an array of sizes. They are easy to wash and quick to dry with touch and close straps.
