Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup
- Setting Time: Pull the crown out to the furthest position. Rotate the crown to set the hour and minute hands. Push the crown back in completely to start the watch.
- Setting Date: Pull the crown out to the first position. Rotate the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise (depending on the specific movement) to adjust the date. Avoid setting the date between 9 PM and 3 AM to prevent damage to the movement's date mechanism. Push the crown back in completely.
- Using Chronograph: The top pusher starts and stops the chronograph. The bottom pusher resets the chronograph hands to zero.
Compatibility
This watch is a standalone accessory and does not require compatibility with other devices.
Care Instructions
- Cleaning: Regularly wipe the watch case, crystal, and bracelet with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to remove dirt and oils. For deeper cleaning of the bracelet, a soft brush with mild soap and water can be used, ensuring to rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
- Water Resistance: While water resistant to 100m, always ensure the crown is fully pushed in before any contact with water. Avoid exposing the watch to extreme temperature changes or hot water/steam, which can compromise seals.
- PVD Coating Care: The rose gold PVD coating is durable but can be susceptible to scratches from abrasive surfaces. Avoid direct impact and harsh chemicals (e.g., perfumes, cleaning agents, chlorine) which can degrade the finish.
- Storage: When not in use, store the watch in a dry, cool place, preferably in its original box or a soft pouch, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
