Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
These composite decking boards are designed for DIY installation. Ensure you have standard woodworking tools such as a saw, drill, and measuring tape. Follow the manufacturer's recommended installation guidelines for spacing and fastening to allow for expansion and contraction.
Compatibility:
Compatible with most standard decking substructures. Ensure your substructure is level and adequately supported to match the dimensions of the boards.
Care:
Cleaning is simple and requires minimal effort. Regular sweeping will remove loose debris. For tougher stains or dirt, use a damp cloth or a soft brush with mild soap and water. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or high-pressure washers, as these can damage the surface. Periodically inspect the boards for any debris trapped between them. Note that slight color variations may occur over time due to sun exposure, which is a natural characteristic of composite materials.
