No, these are designed for light-duty internal applications and are not meant for security-sensitive or high-exposure exterior environments.
No, this product features a fixed pin design, meaning the pin is permanently secured for stability.
The hinges feature a 4.5mm hole diameter, which is compatible with most standard-gauge wood screws of appropriate length for your door and frame thickness.
For most standard internal doors, two hinges are sufficient. However, for taller or heavier internal doors, three hinges are recommended to prevent sagging.
Yes, the bronze finish is rated for occasionally damp environments, making them suitable for bathroom or laundry room doors that are not directly exposed to constant water spray.
Check that the hinges are properly recessed and that the screw holes are perfectly aligned to prevent door misalignment.
Apply a tiny amount of silicone-based lubricant into the knuckle gap and move the door back and forth to distribute it.
Ensure that the screws are fully tightened and that the wood in the frame has not stripped; use a wood filler and re-drill if necessary.
For optimal performance, ensure the hinge is recessed into both the door and the frame using a sharp wood chisel. The 4.5mm hole diameter is compatible with most standard wood screws. To maintain the bronze finish and ensure smooth operation, wipe the hinges occasionally with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust. Avoid using abrasive chemical cleaners that may strip the protective finish. If the door begins to squeak after extended use, a small drop of lightweight silicone-based lubricant applied to the knuckle joint will typically resolve the noise without attracting excessive dust.
