The JCB 21-18RT-B 18v Router features an efficient Brushless Motor for extended run time, increased power, and enhanced durability. It is designed for various woodworking and cabinetry tasks, offering a variable speed control dial (10,000-30,000 RPM) for application-specific speed adjustments. The electronic speed control ensures consistent speed under load, and the soft start feature provides smoother startups and improved accuracy. Convenience is enhanced with a fine depth adjustment system for precise settings, dual L.E.D. lights for better work surface illumination, and a quick-release cam lock system for easy depth adjustments and base removal/installation. The package includes a Trimmer Router Base and a Plunge Base, rubberised grip, and ergonomically designed knob-style handles. It offers a 3-stage depth adjustment and has optional dust extraction attachments available. Key features include 18V Trimmer Router with Brushless Motor Technology for 25% more power and 50% more run time due to the elimination of carbon brush resistance. It also includes variable speed with soft start for controlled application, a vacuum adaptor for dust extraction, and a lock-on/off switch for safety. The router comes with 3/8" and 1/4" collets suitable for most router bits, a built-in LED for visibility, and an ergonomic design for user comfort.
