This robust and powerful mic combines the patented CKR6 capsule and Austrian Audio's "Open Acoustics8. Building on the successful CKR12 capsule, Austrian Audio present the OC16: a studio condenser microphone armed with a single-diaphragm CKR6 capsule as well as a 3-step HPF for extra control over the proximity effect when close-miking instruments. Just like the dual-diaphragm version, this deeply focussed, cardioid microphone features Open Acoustics technology and comes complete with a shock mount to make sure handling noise and other external vibrations are never an issue. A microphone clip and protective case are also included.
