FAQs

What type of paper is used in this notebook?

The notebook contains 192 pages of 70gsm ivory paper, which is plain (unlined).

Does the notebook come with a pen?

Yes, it includes a matching black ballpoint pen that fits into the integrated pen loop.

How durable is the cover?

The notebook features a hard back cover for structure and protection, with a soft printed PU cover for aesthetics. It is designed for regular use but should be cared for to maintain its appearance.

Can I replace the included pen?

Yes, the included pen is a standard ballpoint. You can replace it with another pen of similar size, and the pen loop is designed to accommodate most standard pens.

What are the dimensions of the notebook?

The notebook is A7 size, making it very compact and pocket-friendly.

Is the paper lined or unlined?

The paper is plain, meaning it is unlined, offering complete freedom for writing and drawing.

What is the purpose of the elastic band and ribbon?

The elastic band keeps the notebook securely closed, while the ribbon acts as a bookmark to help you find your place easily.

Troubleshooting

Pen is not securely held in the loop.

Ensure you are using a pen of similar thickness to the one originally provided. Thicker pens may not fit snugly.

Elastic closure is loose.

The elastic is designed for moderate tension. If it becomes significantly stretched, it may need replacement, though this is uncommon with normal use.

Paper shows bleed-through from pen.

This notebook is best suited for ballpoint pens, pencils, or fine-tip markers. For heavier ink use, consider a notebook with thicker paper.

Cover is smudged or dirty.

Gently wipe the PU cover with a slightly damp, soft cloth. Allow to air dry.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Extremely portable due to its A7 size.
  • Includes a matching pen, eliminating the need for a separate purchase.
  • Durable construction with a hard back and elastic closure.
  • Plain pages offer freedom for writing and drawing.
  • Stylish design with the Black & White - Splatter aesthetic.

Cons

  • Paper is plain, which may not be ideal for users who prefer lined or gridded pages.
  • A7 size may be too small for extensive note-taking or journaling.
  • PU cover might show wear over prolonged, heavy use.
  • Pen loop may not fit all pen sizes if you choose to use a different pen.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup: No setup is required. The notebook is ready to use straight out of the packaging. Simply unfasten the elastic closure, remove the pen from its loop, and begin writing.

Compatibility:

  • Paper Type: Compatible with most common writing instruments, including ballpoint pens, gel pens, and pencils. Heavily inked pens like fountain pens or markers may experience some bleed-through due to the 70gsm paper weight.
  • Pen Replacement: The included pen is a standard ballpoint. If it runs out of ink, it can be replaced with a similar sized ballpoint refill. The pen loop is designed to accommodate standard-sized pens.

Care Instructions:

  • Cleaning: Wipe the PU cover with a slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or soaking the notebook in water.
  • Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent discoloration or damage to the cover.
  • Elastic Band & Ribbon: Handle gently to maintain their elasticity and prevent fraying.
