The inner tie rod can be easily removed and installed, works on inner tie rods with inaccessible wrench flats. This tool features a 1/2 in. Drive tube handle and fits many applications on cars and light trucks. Made of solid steel for durability, this heavy-duty kit includes a quick slide collar to secure the crow's feet. The crow's feet sizes are SAE: 1-3/16", 1-1/4", 1-5/16", 1-7/16" and Metric: 14mm, 17mm, 33.6mm. Designed for use with inner tie rod ends and rack and pinion assemblies, the long socket slips over the tie rod end, and the crow foot engages the socket for easy removal and installation without needing to remove the rack. It is ideal for working in cramped conditions where standard sockets and wrenches cannot fit. Please note that this kit is not for use with "Saginaw" type rack and pinion assemblies. These tools should only be used with a hand wrench, not power tools.
