The Fiesta Compostable Double Wall Hot Cups are designed for eco-conscious coffee shops, mobile caterers, and offices looking to reduce their environmental footprint without sacrificing beverage containment quality. These cups offer excellent thermal insulation thanks to their double-wall construction, making them ideal for hot drinks; however, users must ensure they have access to commercial composting facilities to realize the full environmental benefits of the plant-based lining.

Yes, they feature a plant-based lining rather than a plastic-based (polyethylene) lining.
No, these cups require the higher temperatures found in commercial composting facilities to break down effectively within 12 weeks.
It is the European standard for compostable packaging, confirming the material will biodegrade under industrial composting conditions.
Yes, 227ml is the metric equivalent to approximately 8 fluid ounces.
The double-wall construction provides enough insulation for most hot beverages, eliminating the need for a separate sleeve.
These are single-use items; ensure liquid is consumed within a reasonable timeframe (typically under 30 minutes) for best structural performance.
Ensure the lid being used is specifically compatible with 8oz hot cups, as diameters can vary slightly between manufacturers.
To ensure the best user experience, pair these cups with lids designed for an 8oz diameter to maintain a leak-free seal. Store the cups in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight or extreme moisture to prevent the plant-based lining from degrading prematurely. Once used, do not mix these cups with standard plastic recycling; they must be disposed of in commercial organic waste bins or industrial composting containers. If your facility does not currently have a compost collection service, check with local municipal waste services for available commercial composting drop-off points.
