Product Information

Full details

The Nanogen Root Concealer in Dark Brown is an ideal solution for individuals looking to disguise thinning areas, hide grey regrowth, or perfect their parting between professional color treatments. This finely milled powder provides an instant boost to hair density with a natural, matte finish that remains lightweight and residue-free throughout the day. While it offers excellent coverage for roots and sparse areas, users should note that it is designed as a temporary cosmetic fix and must be applied to clean, dry hair to achieve the best bonding results.

FAQs

Does this conceal grey hair?

Yes, it is designed to effectively hide grey regrowth and blend it with your natural hair color.

Will this product rub off on clothes?

The formula is designed to be sweat-resistant and lightweight. Once applied and blended properly, it should remain in place, though it is best to avoid intense friction on the area.

How do I remove the concealer?

The concealer is temporary and washes out easily with your regular shampoo during your next hair wash.

Can I use this on wet hair?

No, it is specifically designed to be applied to clean, dry hair for the best bonding results.

Is this safe for sensitive scalps?

Yes, the product is dermatologically friendly and suitable for most skin types.

Troubleshooting

Powder is not adhering to the hair

Ensure that your hair is completely clean and dry before application. Moisture or hair oils can prevent the powder from bonding effectively.

Application looks patchy

Use the provided applicator to blend the powder thoroughly into the scalp and hair transition areas. A small amount of circular motion helps distribute the pigment evenly.

Color appears too dark or intense

Apply less powder initially and build up the coverage slowly until you reach your desired level of density.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Provides immediate, natural-looking coverage
Lightweight formula that does not leave hair feeling heavy or sticky
Portable size with a built-in mirror for on-the-go touchups
Resistant to sweat and moisture
Dermatologically tested and safe for sensitive scalps

Cons

Temporary solution that washes out with shampoo
Requires dry hair for proper adhesion
Limited to a 4g size which may run out quickly with frequent, heavy application

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setting up your Nanogen Root Concealer is straightforward: open the compact to reveal the powder and the integrated mirror. The internal tool compartment holds the brush or sponge required for application. This product is compatible with most hair types, including color-treated and thinning hair. To ensure product longevity, keep the compact lid tightly closed when not in use to prevent moisture from affecting the powder. If the applicator sponge becomes saturated with product, you can gently tap off excess or use a dry cloth to clean it. Store the product in a cool, dry place to maintain the integrity of the pigmented formula.
