The Vitax Buxus Feed is a specialized fertilizer designed for gardeners and plant enthusiasts aiming to maintain healthy, dense, and vibrant box hedges and container-grown Buxus plants. Its primary benefit is the promotion of compact, rich green foliage through a targeted nutrient profile, though users should be mindful that it requires consistent, measured application to prevent over-fertilization of delicate root systems.

For best results, apply regularly throughout the growing season, typically from spring through to late summer.
This product is specifically formulated for Buxus. While it may not harm other evergreens, it may not provide the optimal nutrient balance they require.
As with all garden fertilizers, keep pets and children away from the area during and immediately after application until the product has been watered in and the soil has dried.
Always apply to the soil around the base of the plant. Avoid getting granules on the foliage to prevent burning.
It is best to allow new plants to establish for a few weeks before applying fertilizer, using a lower concentration initially.
This may indicate over-fertilization or fertilizer burn. Flush the soil with plenty of water to dilute excess nutrients and temporarily suspend feeding.
This is caused by moisture exposure. Ensure the container is stored in a dry environment and keep the lid tightly closed.
To apply, ensure the soil is moist before spreading the fertilizer granules around the base of the plant, being careful to avoid direct contact with the foliage. Once applied, lightly hoe or rake the granules into the surface of the soil and water thoroughly to assist with nutrient uptake. Store the container in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain the potency of the product. Always ensure the lid is sealed tightly after use to prevent moisture from clumping the fertilizer.
