Cleco style wing nut fastener. Wing nut fasteners are recommended for low production applications where high clamping force is required. A very useful and easy-to-use temporary fastener. Simply drill a 3mm hole in the panels, insert the pin, and then fasten with the wing nut, which expands the pins and fastens the two items together. Suitable for any car restoration project that requires panel repair. The fastener can be removed and replaced as many times as necessary until the panel is finished. With it being a wing nut, no extra tools are required to use this item. Suitable for clamping sheets up to 1/2in in thickness. On the body of the fastener, there are hex heads that can be turned by a spanner if extra force is required or if it's difficult to tighten in oily/slippy conditions.
