Originally designed for the commandos of the Italian Navy, the Luminor collection from Panerai is iconic and has been reinvented in many ways, whilst maintaining the traditional features that made the range so famous such as the crown-protecting bridge and cushion shaped case. Proving that sports lux design can be incredibly stylish, this Panerai Luminor Marina Watch is always read for action, on land and beneath the waves. Water resistant to an incredible 300 metres and powered by a reliable automatic movement, this timepiece features a sophisticated blue dial, a date display at 3 o'clock, a 60 seconds sub-dial at 9 o'clock and luminescent hour hands for optimum visibility in low light conditions. Secured with a stylish leather strap, this timepiece is protected by a sapphire crystal glass and presented in a 44mm polished stainless steel case. Panerai's 'Luminor' timepieces take their lead from the original style used by the Italian Navy during the '50s. Reinterpreted for today, this 'Marina' iteration has been crafted in Switzerland from stainless steel and has a date window, small seconds sub dial and interchangeable alligator and leather straps. It's powered by an automatic movement and has Super-LumiNova® hands, numerals and hour markers for maximum legibility.
