The Clarke CBB200 is an essential tool for metalworkers, hobbyists, and workshop professionals who need to achieve a professional, lustrous finish on metal and composite components. With its 370W motor and precision-balanced shafts, it excels at removing oxidation, buffing scratches, and polishing surfaces for a mirror-like appearance; however, users should note that as a dedicated buffer, it is not designed for grinding or heavy material removal tasks.

No, the CBB200 is designed specifically for buffing and polishing. Using it for heavy grinding can damage the motor and the polishing mops.
The motor runs at a constant speed of 2850 RPM.
No, the package includes the buffer and two polishing mops; polishing compounds must be purchased separately based on your material.
While it can be moved, the unit is intended to be bolted to a workbench for safety and vibration control, so it is not recommended as a handheld or mobile tool.
The unit is designed for 200mm mops. Using significantly different sizes may affect balance and performance.
Ensure the bench buffer is securely bolted to a heavy, stable workbench and check that the polishing mops are balanced and correctly tightened.
Check that you are not applying excessive pressure to the workpiece; let the RPM of the mop do the work instead of pushing hard into the wheel.
Verify the power cable is plugged into a functional 230V outlet and check the fuse in the plug if applicable.
To set up the Clarke CBB200, bolt the cast iron base securely to a flat, stable workbench to ensure vibration-free operation. Before first use, verify that the polishing mops are tightened securely onto the shafts.
