Setup, Compatibility & Care
To install, ensure you have a drill, screwdriver, and measuring tape. First, position the chain base plate on the door frame and the receiver plate on the door, ensuring the chain has enough slack to engage comfortably without straining. Mark your holes accurately to avoid damaging the door finish.
Compatibility: This unit is specifically designed for narrow-stile doors, but verify your door's material (wood, composite, or UPVC) to ensure you have the correct drill bits.
Care: To keep the chain operating smoothly, occasionally wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners that may strip the silver finish. If the chain becomes stiff, a tiny amount of silicone-based lubricant can be applied to the track.
