No, they should be hand-washed to maintain the integrity of the tin-plated steel.
The set includes six cutters ranging from 36mm up to 70mm.
Yes, they are suitable for shaping items like fried eggs or molded grains, provided you handle them carefully while hot.
Yes, because they are made of tin-plated mild steel, they will rust if left in water or not dried immediately after washing.
Yes, the metal is rigid and sharp enough to provide clean, consistent cuts through firm doughs.
Lightly dust the inner walls of the cutter with flour before each cut.
Gently remove light surface oxidation with a non-abrasive pad, wash, and ensure the tool is bone-dry before storing.
Soak the cutter briefly in warm, soapy water to soften residue, then clean with a soft sponge.
No complex setup is required; the cutters are ready to use immediately. For best results, lightly flour the edges when cutting sticky dough to ensure a clean release. To maintain the longevity of your Vogue cutters, hand-wash them with warm, soapy water immediately after use. Avoid using abrasive scrubbers that could damage the tin plating. Crucially, dry the items completely with a clean towel; storing them while even slightly damp can lead to surface rust. Always store them inside the provided case to prevent the edges from bending or becoming misaligned.
