The Microplane Adjustable Mandoline Slicer is designed for home cooks who prioritize precision and efficiency in vegetable preparation. Its key benefit is the space-saving reversible deck system that eliminates the need for bulky blade attachments, making it ideal for compact kitchens; however, users should be aware that the high-quality blades are extremely sharp and mandate consistent use of the provided hand guard for safety.

No. The unique reversible deck design allows you to switch between cutting styles using the same integrated assembly, saving significant cabinet space.
Yes. It is highly recommended to use the hand guard at all times to protect your fingers from the extremely sharp blades.
Yes, the unit includes integrated bowl hooks specifically designed to secure the mandoline over mixing bowls for easy, direct prep.
Rinse the device under warm water immediately after use. We recommend hand washing with mild soap to maintain the sharpness of the blades.
The dial allows you to make precise adjustments to the slice thickness, giving you complete control over how thin or thick your ingredients are cut.
Check that the dial is fully locked into its intended setting and that the deck is securely seated in the frame.
The blade may require a quick rinse to remove starchy buildup, or ensure you are using smooth, consistent strokes.
Ensure the nonslip feet are placed on a dry, clean, flat surface. If the surface is wet, wipe it down before proceeding.
Setup is straightforward: simply rotate the deck to your desired blade orientation and use the dial to set your thickness. When finished, rinse the unit immediately under warm water to prevent food residue from hardening on the blade. While the device is durable, hand washing is highly recommended to preserve the edge of the stainless steel blade. Avoid using abrasive sponges that may scratch the plastic housing or dull the blade. Store the mandoline with the dial set to its lowest, safest position in a dry area to prevent accidental contact.
