A neat bench pillar drill for the home or hobby workshop. This sturdy machine is just what you need for crafts, modelling and small jobs. It is made from cast iron and machined steel for giving it stability and strength. The chuck spindle, fitted with a quality 1-13mm keyless chuck ensures consistent, repeatable drilling. Powered by a 350W induction motor, there is a choice of 5-belt speeds between 600 and 2,500rpm, covering a good range of hole sizes and materials. The down feed is fitted with soft grip handles and there is a convenient drilling depth control. Table height is adjusted by sliding the table assembly up or down the column. For taller work the table can be swivelled away to allow the base to be used as a work support. A front mounted NVR switch and the adjustable chuck guard add to the convenience of use. The belt cover has a safety switch to ensure safe speed changing. This small drill is a very useful machine to have in a small home workshop, versatile and reliable. N.B.
