The trunk is made from wood, rather than the plastic favoured by lesser models. This gives it a lovely textured feel. Displaying Your Tree Outdoors If you're displaying your tree outdoors, we recommend treating the leaves once a year with a UV-protective spray. This will stop them fading in the sun, so they retain their lush appearance. Pre-Potted with Decorative Moss Our bay trees are delivered in pots which are weighted with concrete for stability when displayed indoors. The concrete is disguised by artificial moss for a natural-looking finish. Repotting Your Artificial Tree If you're displaying your tree outdoors, we recommend repotting it in a larger decorative pot or planter, before firming it down with soil, sand, gravel, or stones to protect it from the wind.
