Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
This digital shower system is designed for a concealed installation, meaning the main mixing valve and digital control unit are typically installed behind the wall. It is highly recommended that installation be carried out by a qualified plumber or bathroom installer familiar with digital shower systems to ensure proper connections and functionality.
Compatibility:
The Vis system requires a minimum water pressure of 1.0 bar and a maximum of 5.0 bar for optimal performance. It is compatible with most standard UK water systems, including combi boilers, unvented systems, and gravity-fed systems (with a pump). Ensure your existing plumbing can support these requirements. The digital control unit requires a power connection, usually via a standard mains socket located safely away from the shower area.
Care:
- Cleaning the Shower Heads: Gently wipe the silicone nozzles with a soft, damp cloth to remove any limescale. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
- Cleaning the Digital Control Panel: Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the control panel. Do not immerse the panel in water or use harsh cleaning chemicals.
- General Maintenance: Periodically check for any signs of wear or damage. Ensure the main water supply is turned off before performing any maintenance.
