The Lorina Bradoon Nylon Mullen Mouth Brass Ring Bit is a very gentle bit ideal for in-hand showing or as a first bit, especially for ponies. It features a solid nylon mouthpiece with loose brass rings. The nylon mouthpiece encourages bit acceptance as it is warmer than stainless steel and does not taste as strong as rubber. It has a steel core for durability but should be checked for sharp edges from chewing before each use. This Mullen Mouth Snaffle acts mildly on the horse's bars and tongue, making it a perfect first bit for mouthing and riding.
