The DeWalt DCS579N is a high-power circular saw, offering up to 47% more power than its predecessor, the DCS576N. It features an updated motor driver and software for enhanced performance. This versatile saw is suitable for general-purpose ripping, crosscutting, and bevelling of wood and other construction materials. It allows for variable adjustment of the bevel angle up to 57 degrees and offers optimum balance for safe, fatigue-free operation. The stable block construction ensures low vibration and a long service life. An additional handle provides safe two-handed work, and an LED work light improves visibility of the cut line. Powered by the 54v FlexVolt system, it delivers corded performance. The DEWALT Brushless Motor provides power, extended run-time, reliability, and durability. The scale allows for precise cutting depth setting up to 61 mm (57mm when used with a Guide Rail). It is directly compatible with the DEWALT guide rail system for quick and easy use, and the dust blower clears dust and debris from the cut line. The DCS579 is compatible with the DEWALT AirLock system for easy, secure connection to extraction hoses. It is ideal for roofers, concrete form workers, kitchen fitters, shop fitters, plumbers, electricians, joiners, carpenters, general builders, landscapers, and boat builders. Applications include trimming roof battens, formwork, window/door shuttering, fitting sheet/flooring, laying decking, sizing stud timber, fitting fire board panels, and sizing OSB/plywood panels. This package includes 2 x 9.0Ah batteries, 1 x Charger, 1 x Blade, 1 x Rip Fence and dust extraction port, and a Tstak Case.
