Rainsmart soakaway crates are supplied flat-packed for fast on-site assembly. Each crate provides a 95% void ratio and 233.64 litres of storage. Built from recycled polypropylene, the crate delivers a 24.2 tonne/m² vertical load capacity, making it suitable for garden and pedestrian installations. All outward-facing surfaces must be wrapped in non-woven geotextile to prevent soil ingress. Pipe connections are made through the 160mm entry points. For long-term performance, a pre-filter such as our SiltGuard Silt Trap is recommended to reduce silt entering the system.
