Setup, Compatibility & Care
- Placement: Ensure the fridge freezer is placed on a level surface. Maintain a minimum distance from walls for proper ventilation.
- Power Connection: Plug the appliance into a grounded electrical outlet. The voltage should match the specifications on the appliance label (220-240V, 50 Hz).
- Initial Start-up: Allow the fridge freezer to run for at least 2 hours before placing food inside to reach the correct temperature.
- Reversible Doors: Door hinges can be reversed, but this must be done by a qualified installer.
- Cleaning: Clean the interior regularly with a solution of lukewarm water and baking soda. Wipe the shelves and drawers. Avoid using abrasive cleaners.
- Defrosting: While the Low Frost system minimizes ice build-up, defrost the freezer when ice accumulates to more than 5mm.
- Ventilation: Keep the ventilation openings in the appliance enclosure or in the built-in structure clear of obstructions.
