The HSS Step Drill Bit is made of high-speed steel and coated with AlTiN (Aluminium Titan Nitride), offering maximum lifetime without the need for coolant. It features easily visible and durable laser-marked figures of the hole diameter on both spiral flutes. The 3-flat shank prevents slipping in the chuck and ensures powerful high-torque transmission. This step drill bit performs smooth, burr-free drilling in multiple diameters with a single bit, ideal for deburring, drilling round holes, and enlarging existing ones. Pre-punching is not necessary due to the split-point tip for easy starting. Its CNC ground spiral flute optimizes chip removal and reduces vibration for even drilling, while axial and radial relief grinding guarantee the highest cutting performance and absolute smoothness. This step drill bit is suitable for thin materials such as non-ferrous metals, sheet plastic, sheet steel, plastic, and stainless steel.
