Setup Instructions
- Power Off PC: Before installation, ensure your computer is completely powered off and unplugged from the wall.
- Open Case: Remove the side panel of your PC case to access the motherboard.
- Locate PCIe Slot: Identify an available PCIe x16 slot on your motherboard. If replacing an old GPU, gently remove it first.
- Insert GPU: Align the GPU with the PCIe slot and press down firmly until it clicks into place. Secure it with the provided screw(s) to the case.
- Connect Power: Attach the necessary PCIe power cables from your power supply to the GPU. Refer to the GPU's power connectors (e.g., 12VHPWR or 8-pin connectors).
- Close Case & Power On: Reattach the side panel, plug in your PC, and power it on.
- Install Drivers: Once booted into your operating system, download and install the latest NVIDIA GeForce drivers from the official NVIDIA website.
Compatibility Considerations
- Motherboard: Requires a motherboard with an available PCIe 4.0 or 5.0 x16 slot.
- Power Supply Unit (PSU): A robust PSU with sufficient wattage and the correct PCIe power connectors is crucial. Consult the GPU specifications for recommended wattage.
