RIO Premier Fathom Sinking Fly Line - RIO

WF stands for Weight Forward, the common fly line taper used for casting.

Consider the depth of the water and where the fish are feeding. Use a faster sinking line (higher number) for deeper water and a slower sinking line (lower number) for shallower water.

Rinse the line with fresh water after each use. Use a line cleaner occasionally.

While the line can be used in saltwater, rinse it thoroughly with fresh water after each use to prevent salt buildup.

Use a good quality fly line backing appropriate for your reel's capacity.

Store the fly line in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, and preferably in a line holder or spool.

Check the sink rate of the line. Ensure the water temperature is not significantly affecting the sink rate. Check for any debris on the line.

Check for leader tangles and ensure you are using a smooth casting stroke. Adjust your retrieve speed and depth control.
