The FloPlast Solvent Weld Access Plug is ideal for professional plumbers and DIY enthusiasts working on 32mm waste pipe systems who require a secure, permanent connection with the option for future inspection. This component provides a robust, watertight seal through solvent welding, ensuring long-term reliability in residential and commercial plumbing; however, it is important to note that this is a permanent fixing and cannot be easily removed or repositioned once the chemical weld has fully cured.

No, this is specifically designed for solvent weld systems. It will not form a watertight seal on push-fit pipes.
You only need basic pipe cutting tools, sandpaper, and solvent weld cement.
Yes, ABS solvent weld components are suitable for standard domestic hot and cold water waste applications.
The housing bonded to the pipe is permanent, but the screw-in access cap is removable and reusable.
The access plug allows you to open the pipe for cleaning, whereas a standard end cap is sealed permanently.
The adhesive may not have been applied evenly. Ensure the pipe was cleaned properly; if a leak persists, you may need to cut out the section and re-fit a new coupling.
Apply a small amount of silicone lubricant to the threads or use a strap wrench to gain better grip without damaging the plastic finish.
Care: Periodically check the screw-cap to ensure it remains tight. If you notice a drip, ensure the internal rubber or plastic seal of the cap is free from debris.
