The innovative Net Relief Muzzle Net was the first product developed by Equilibrium in 2001. This simple horse nose net helps alleviate the symptoms of headshaking worldwide. Unlike traditional nets that cover the whole muzzle, its contoured, shaped design covers only the top half. Once in place, it is unobtrusive, allows saliva to escape freely, and does not interfere with breathing. It can remain on the bridle at all times and places no restriction on the type of bit or noseband used. The Net Relief Muzzle Net is fully adjustable and attaches to the noseband via hook and loop straps, allowing it to be tailored to every horse. Refills are available. Clinical trials at De Montfort University showed outstanding results: 79% of animals experienced an improvement in symptoms, 84% of respondents found it easy to use, and 88% found it attractive on the horse. British Dressage and British Eventing permit the muzzle net for competition use. This product is specifically designed for cavesson or flash bridles and is ideal for horses prone to headshaking during ridden work. The lightweight, discreet contoured mesh ensures a comfortable fit. It can be cut to the desired length for a perfect fit. It is suitable for horses sensitive to wind, pollen, and flies, and helps horses that toss or shake their heads while ridden. It is machine washable and includes 2 nets.
