The Datalogic Magellan 1500i is a high-performance presentation scanner designed for various applications, including retail point of sale, pharmacies, and customer service. It excels at reading both 1D and 2D barcodes from both printed and mobile sources. Its integration of Digimarc® Barcode watermark decoding makes it a uniquely capable scanner in its category. The Magellan 1500i combines Datalogic's advanced imaging scanning expertise with an innovative, compact design, positioning it as a powerful presentation scanner. With a high-performance megapixel sensor and custom optics, it offers a large reading area capable of scanning at distances up to 25 cm and achieving 1D sweep speeds of up to 1.5 m/s. Its decoding algorithms are optimized for performance on various 1D and 2D labels, including those that are hard-to-read, truncated, or damaged. The generous reading area and sweep performance ensure an easy and intuitive scanning experience, even for new users. Consistent and comfortable illumination facilitates seamless barcode reading from printed or mobile sources while minimizing reflection and eliminating flicker that can cause operator discomfort. Datalogic's Motionix™ motion-sensing technology allows the scanner to intuitively switch between handheld and stand modes. When picked up, it activates an LED aimer, and the 'Green Spot' technology provides immediate good-read confirmation directly on the barcode. When returned to the counter, it seamlessly reverts to stand mode. Featuring a small footprint and an appealing design, the Magellan 1500i complements any point-of-sale or service environment. Available in classic black and white enclosures with various mounting options, it offers a versatile and powerful solution in an attractive, compact package.
