Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Unroll the netting carefully, ensuring it does not tangle.
- Position the fiberglass posts at regular intervals (recommended spacing varies based on terrain, but typically 3-5 meters apart for optimal tension).
- Insert the double spikes of each post firmly into the ground, ensuring stability.
- Connect the stainless steel clips at the ends of the netting roll to any other netting rolls or existing fencing.
- Attach an appropriate electric fence energizer (sold separately) to the netting, following the energizer's instructions and connecting it to the electrified wires.
- Ensure the insulated bottom wire is not in contact with the ground or vegetation which could cause short circuits.
Compatibility:
This netting is designed to connect seamlessly with other Fensecure electric fencing products featuring similar clip mechanisms. It requires an electric fence energizer suitable for netting applications. Ensure your energizer's power output is appropriate for the total length of netting being used.
Care:
- Regularly inspect the netting for any damage to the wires or posts. Repair or replace damaged sections promptly.
- Keep the area around the netting clear of tall grass and weeds, as these can drain power from the fence and cause short circuits.
- Clean the netting and posts periodically with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. Avoid using harsh chemicals.
- Store the netting properly when not in use to prevent damage from weather and pests.
